A personal perspective on Young Onset Parkinson's

Long Rock in Legacy Mailing

watermarked-longrockThis is my painting, Long Rock, named after the location (in Mount’s Bay, Cornwall) from which the source photograph was taken.

Earlier this year, I was asked by Parkinson’s UK if they could use it in a mailshot. I said, of course they could. They made notecards of it and put it in envelopes with a letter requesting that the recipients consider remembering the charity in their wills. The emphasis is on Young Onset Parkinson’s and, er, I featured as an example of someone with Young Onset Parkinson’s who was making the best of it.

Of course, it’s great publicity, and my other Web site ( www.amandabatesart.co.uk ) is on the back of the card.
