A personal perspective on Young Onset Parkinson's

Ropinirole Diary: July 2012

A photograph of this evening's sky.

It’s around a month since I started taking 16 mg.

And you know what? That dystonia… it hasn’t quite gone. But it doesn’t really annoy me at the moment. Of course, here in the UK we are having a little heat wave (let’s just call it summer), and that has its effects.

One of them is that I wear sandals and not only can I observe my toes a little better, but – rather significantly – the joints on my toes aren’t rubbing on the underside of the upper. ‘Cos it’s not there.

Another is that everything is better in the sun.

Well, it is, isn’t it?

  1. I’m glad you’re doing okay on the new medication. And yes, everything is so much better in the sunshine! I live in San Diego, California and we whine and complain we don’t get sun every day. I think it is addicting. I hope your job and your kids are okay too, I think about you often.
